Soleterre is proud to announce that the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) approved a grant for the project “Psychological support for medical staff, patients and families affected by Covid19 in Lombardy”. The grant is part of the COVID19 Global Relief Initiative launched by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) to help alleviate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It’s an honour for Soleterre to have been selected by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) within the Covid19 Global Relief Initiative” said Damiano Rizzi, President of Soleterre. “As clinical psychologist I’ve been personally involved in providing psychological support during the first phase of the emergency in the S.Matteo Hospital in Pavia (Lombardy region), assisting medical staff but also relatives of Covid19 patients. This pandemic has caused and is still causing a very high level of psychological traumas, and the support from professional psychologists will be essential to cope with them in the near future. We’re extremely grateful to the SNF for their support”.
The project will offer psychological support to over 500 frontline medical staff, patients, and families in Lombardy, the region in the north of Italy hardest affected by the pandemic.
